We live responsibility. At VERTEX, laws, regulations, and internal guidelines form the basis for all business decisions and our daily actions. Compliance is essential to satisfy our business partners and employees and to achieve sustainable economic success.
In order to detect, investigate, and take the necessary steps against violations and misconduct at an early stage, we ask you to report any indications of possible wrongdoing. Every whistleblower’s tip is investigated and reviewed in an objective and transparent process.
To comply with legal requirements and internal compliance regulations, VERTEX has commissioned a committee composed of various employees to follow up on any suspicion of unlawful or inappropriate conduct. If breaches or misconduct are identified, they must be corrected immediately and sanctions considered.
By presenting and explaining whistleblowing on the basis of this document, various legal requirements for reporting systems and whistleblower protection—such as the EU Whistleblower Directive 2019/1937 and its corresponding implementation (HSchG)—are taken into account.
Whistleblowers’ tips help VERTEX counteract violations at an early stage and reduce harm to our company, our employees, and our business partners.
We protect the interests of those providing tips through this whistleblowing system and assure you that incoming reports will be treated confidentially. We will do everything in our power to protect whistleblowers acting in good faith from any potential adverse consequences resulting from their reports. Reports can be submitted completely anonymously, provided this is legally permissible.
